What Qualifies as Workplace Violence?
Workplace violence describes any form of aggressive behavior or harassment or intimidation which happens at work and threatens employee safety and health. Workplace violence includes physical attacks and threats as well as psychological abuse directed at employees. Workplace bullying which involves sustained aggressive conduct to harm or frighten someone qualifies as workplace violence because it generates hostile work conditions that produce intense emotional and psychological harm to the victim.
